Today’s Thoughts (12/20/11)

Counting down to Christmas so only have time tonight for a few thoughts:

– Had my hair re-reddened today! Always makes me happy. I had put it off by a week so my roots were coming in by a lot. I had this light halo around my face with the dark blond hair showing. Could almost imagine what my hair would look like if I let it go back to it’s natural color. Not that I would ever do that!

– Had Worship Committee meeting tonight. It was fun! Seems like it always is these days. It was mostly about planning for Christmas so there isn’t a whole lot for me to put in the minutes. “Discussed Christmas services. Planned Christmas services.” That really does sum it up.

– I did find out I only have to do one power point for Christmas Eve, none for Christmas Day and none for the one service next week. It’s like a mini-vacation from power points! Someone did say that they would dock my pay. Darn! Right when I was going to ask them to double my pay! Nothing doubled by nothing equals…well, you see my point. Oh well, I do it because I love it and that is pay enough!

– I’m almost ready for Christmas. Just a couple more things to buy for my brother, a little more baking to do and cleaning up for Christmas Day. It’s going to be a great holiday!!!
