Today’s Thoughts (11/9/11)

This isn’t so much my thoughts for today but my thoughts for the future as in, thoughts I will blog about later in time:

– Yesterday was a very good election day. Well, it was for me and all of those who wanted the referendums on the ballot to go the way they did. Maine retained the right to register for elections on election day and the two questions regarding additional casinos in Maine were voted down. Those were the ones that held my interest and I am very glad the one I voted Yes passed as Yes and the two I voted No passed as No. Yup…a very good election day!

– Someday I am going to write about what it is like to be on unemployment. Not now because I am still on unemployment but, when I am no longer collecting unemployment, I will write about the system. It is interesting how it all works.

– Why don’t people do the right thing? I’m talking about the situation at Penn State. I don’t understand why people think they can cover things up and it will stay that way. I will write in more detail about this at a later date but things are happening too fast right now and I want to wait until the situation settles down before I really comment about it.

– Today was a wonderful, happy, blessed, surprising day!!! I will definitely write more about this in the next few days but I want to get some thank you cards written first. Suffice to say, it was a very surprising and happy day for me!!!!
