Cuts

Have you ever looked down at your hand and noticed a cut that wasn’t there before?  While I was working this afternoon, I was processing some shipping paperwork and noticed cuts on the back of my index finger and middle finger of my right hand.  They weren’t bleeding so they must have happened a few hours ago.  I just never noticed.

Now I know that I have been busy.  And I know that I can get so absorbed in my work that I don’t pay attention to eating and drinking and stuff like that.  But to actually cut myself, have it scab over and never notice???  I think that is a sign that I am TOO busy. It’s time to slow down.

I guess the good thing is that there wasn’t any blood anywhere.  It’s kind of embarrassing to send mail out or hand someone a piece of paper that has blood on it.  That can be kind of gross!
