Today’s Thoughts (February 7, 2013)

Just a few thoughts on a Thursday:

– Apparently we are due to get a major Nor’easter tomorrow. BLIZZARD!!!  Actually I think they are serious because the radar is showing these two storms developing and moving towards each other. We are supposed to get high winds and they are predicting the snow totals in feet and not inches. Two feet of snow in southern Maine. WOW!

– In anticipation of being snowed in for the ext couple of days, I stopped by the grocery store to get some things. I have had this craving for chicken soup for the last couple of days and thought I would get the ingredients. We do have most of the stuff but we didn’t have any celery. So, as long as we have power, I will be making chicken soup tomorrow. Yum!

– Speaking of the grocery store, it was PACKED! People were stocking up on essentials and non-essentials before the snow comes. I say non-essentials because I saw one woman whose cart was full of wine and bottles of liquor. She also had crackers and chips and candy. Can see how she is planning on spending time during the storm.

I guess that is all. Maybe I’ll take some before today and then after pictures when the snow stops flying and post them. I usually don’t have the thought to do that until after the storm has started but, since I have to take the dog for a walk, I might as well take some pictures.
