Christmas Eve

Joy to the world, Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ was born on Christmas day…on that Silent Night, Holy Night, Angels from the Realms of Glory sang Glory to God in heaven and peace to all on earth! May all the joyous music and moving Bible verses of this Christmas season fill your hearts and minds now and throughout the coming year!

I just posted this on Facebook but I wanted to share with everyone else as well.

There was so much wonderful music tonight at church that it is all dancing around in my head, line after line, verse after verse…creating a cacophony of joyous, uplifting music.

I wonder if that is how God hears it? I thought about that during the service as we sang Joy to the World. All over the world people were singing Joy to the World this evening. Did God hear each rendition of it or was it a cacophony of joyous, uplifting music?

I love Christmas. I love the music, the Bible verses, the joy, peace, kindness, and care that is abundant this time of year. I always feel like the whole world just pauses to take a deep breath and savor the perfect moment that is Christmas.

On that note, I am heading to bed. Christmas Day tomorrow! Can’t wait for the celebration to continue!!!
