Just a few thoughts on a Sunday:
– Went to the Sea Dogs game yesterday with friends. (The Sea Dogs are the minor league team for the Red Sox). It was a double header but the group I was with wanted to leave right after the first game. They lost the first game by one run but won the second game. I wish we had stayed for part of the second game because my friends who did stay saw a grand slam! I would loved to have seen that! Maybe I will get the opportunity to go again soon.
– Strange thing happened at church this morning. Our coffee urns are missing. This is a huge tragedy for a Lutheran church because we are big coffee drinkers. Not to mention we had a congregational meeting between services and it would be a shame to ask people to sit through a meeting and not offer them coffee. Luckily someone donated a new 12 cup coffee maker and they (the women in charge this month) filled up the vacuum pump coffee pots until we had enough coffee for the meeting. I hope whoever took the urns returns them soon. And hopefully next time they will ask before they borrow them.
– Why do I always pick the hottest time of day to install my air conditioner? Maybe its because the heat finally got to me? Anyway, I installed my air conditioner this afternoon. Although my drill was out of power and I had to wait for the battery to charge before I could install it. Oh well. That task is done and it is nice and cool in my apartment now.
I think that is all for a Sunday night. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!
