Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

I don’t think of Valentine’s Day as a holiday made up by the greeting card and candy making industries.  I think that it was commandeered by those industries but was truly made as day to celebrate the one thing that all humans crave and need which is to love and be loved. I also  love that it comes in the darkest days of winter when we all need to hold each other close and keep warm.

I hope the cynics are silenced this day by the utter joy and happiness displayed by all those who have found true love.
