Just a few thoughts on the first day of July:
– It’s back!!! The basketball is back in the hoop! Just hanging there. The next time I see my neighbors in the yard, I’m going to have to ask them why the basketball is residing in the hoop. I’ll let you know what I find out.
– I have put off the finishing of the root canal until next week, Thursday the 8th. I just couldn’t stand the thought of having that tooth poked at after the amount of pain I was in last week. I’m still on the anti-biotic and I have enough pain medicine to last. I did find out that Torture Guy (aka the dentist) has already billed the insurance company for the full procedure so if I go to a different dentist, I have to pay the full amount myself. And the new dentist I consulted with insists on putting the crown on right away, which is also my expense. My insurance won’t cover the amount. My current dentist will just put a filling in and put a crown on later this year or early next year. Oh well. I’ll let him finish this job and then shop around for a new Torture Guy.
– Went to see Knight and Day, the new movie starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, this evening. It was really good! Lots of action and twists…kept us guessing the whole time. It was also really funny in spots. I highly recommend it!
The weather is supposed to be absolutely BEAUTIFUL this weekend – a perfect 4th of July weekend! I hope every one has a safe and happy holiday!
