Update

At 5:18 this morning, the basketball fell through the hoop.

I am not sure why this happened.  It is raining out but it has rained in the past month and the basketball never moved.  We even had a very powerful thunderstorm with high winds and heavy rains pass through last Thursday and it never budged. This morning there is a light rain falling and somehow that loosened things enough that the basketball fell.  I woke up to the sound of the basketball hitting the pavement and bouncing twice.

Odd….very odd. Almost as if the net was waiting for me to take the picture this past weekend and, once I did, it felt it could let go of the ball.  Hmmm…it IS a magic basketball net!
