A little follow up to previous posts:

– The potato salad yesterday was a big hit!!  Yeah!!!  It was reported to me that everyone enjoyed it and they would like the recipe.  Unfortunately the recipe resides in my head and it is just a list of ingredients.  Exact quantities is more like my adding in the ingredients to the potato salad until it looks and tastes like the way I want it.  I said I would make a small batch (five pounds) this weekend and carefully measure everything as I put it in.  I should be able to write down the recipe so I can share it with everyone.

– Had the second part of my root canal late yesterday afternoon.  Torture Guy (aka the dentist) was in rare form.  He kept jabbing at my tooth with some sharp instrument in between drilling it.  A couple of times when he jabbed at it, he missed the tooth and hit my gum.  How do I know this?  When the Novocaine wore off, I found a cut on the front of the gum by the tooth and a cut on the back.  The tooth, and gum, really hurt last night and didn’t feel that great today.  Next week he is supposed to finish it up and hopefully it will be all better then.  Sigh…I dislike going to the dentist and I REALLY dislike root canals.  Oh well.  A necessary evil, I suppose.
