Achy Tooth

Groan…heavy sigh…. grumble, grumble, grumble….

That is me.  I have a toothache.  It has been bothering me for a while now.  When I would eat something really cold, it would ache for a while afterwards.  But then the pain would go away and I would forget about it.  Then it started bothering me when I ate something moderately cold, like a piece of fruit that had been in the fridge.  But then the pain would go away and I would forget about it. Now it seems to be aching no matter what I eat and the pain is lasting for hours afterwards.  Hard to forget about it.

Clearly my theory that my tooth will heal itself if I just ignore it isn’t working.  Clearly I am going to have to go see Torture Guy.  Thus the groaning, heavy sighing and the grumbling.

As I have stated in a previous post, I don’t like going to the dentist, which is why I refer to him as Torture Guy.  Of course, I don’t call him that to his face.  That would just be stupid.  Although, in thinking about it, writing about it in my blog and thus posting it on the Internet may not be the brightest move.  After all, he could end up reading it.  I’m fairly certain that he doesn’t know about my blog but my brother may have mentioned it to him last time he went to the dentist.  Oh well.  Hopefully Torture Guy has a sense of humor.  If not, I may be in wicked bad pain after my appointment tomorrow.
