Opinion

I have been thinking about this since Sunday night.  Actually it has really been bugging me.  Does it go without saying that since this is my blog that the things posted on the blog are my opinion? I started to think about this after I talked to my aunt on Sunday night.  I know that she and my uncle are very conservative Republicans.  Anyone who knows me is aware that I am the opposite  i.e. liberal Democrat (although I am registered Independent).  I love my aunt and uncle and would in no way want to offend them but, since this is my blog, I feel like I should be free to express my opinions.

There have been people in my life who have become very angry with me because I don’t agree with their political or religious beliefs.  I mean, REALLY angry.  The thing is, I respect everyone’s opinions.  I may disagree with them and think they are really off base but everyone is entitled to their opinions and beliefs.  The only time I think that people aren’t entitled to their own beliefs is when what they believe causes harm to themselves or other people.  Then they need to be knocked alongside their heads…or have things done to them that are much, much worse if they have hurt children.

I guess I just wanted to say that the opinions expressed in this blog are strictly my own and not meant to offend or hurt anyone.  If I have offended you, then we can have a conversation and I will explain to you that the opinions expressed in this blog are strictly my own and you are free to have your own blog and express your opinions.
