Today’s Thoughts (11/06/09)

Here are some thoughts bouncing around:

– I am getting a cold.  There has been a cold going around and I have been exposed to it by at least four people.  I was hoping for the best but last night the congestion started and now I can feel it building, my head is starting to hurt and I am beginning to feel lousy.  I’m sure it’s not the swine flu.  Just a cold.  Bummer!

– Speaking of swine flu…did those Wall Street companies actually believe that no one was going to find out that they received more than their share of doses of the vaccine? I mean, all it takes is for one of their employees to be standing in line at Starbucks, hear someone say they are struggling to get the vaccine and really can’t take the time to stand in line and the Goldman Sachs or some other Wall Street firm employee says “Wasn’t hard for me!  I got my vaccine at work!”.  Yup.  Did they really think it would stay a secret?

– If you get a chance to read Dilbert from yesterday, you should. Then try to fit the line “Wrong is one of those concepts that depends on witnesses”  into a conversation someday.  Cracked me up!!!

I think that is all my headachy head can come up with today.  Time to lie down and hope this goes away soon!
