Thoughts for Today (10/19/09)

Just some thoughts:

–         Charlie the Chipmunk’s body is gone (see post from 10/15/09).  I would like to think that Cait came and looked for him and had a funeral for him but I think that more than likely, he was dinner for some other creature.  Oh well.  Everyone has to eat!

–         Saw the movie “Love Happens” yesterday.  Very good movie!!  Enjoyed it although certain parts made me sad.  But, that is what makes a movie good sometimes.

–         Still looking for a house.  It never occurred to me that house hunting would be so difficult.  My problem is that I don’t know what town I should move to and there are a lot of possibilities.  I would like some place in the country and a ranch would be preferable.  Just because I like everything all on one floor.  But that doesn’t narrow it down by much.  I was feeling discouraged last week but my brother said that one day, the perfect house for me would be there and the rest of the process will go quickly and smoothly.  I hope so!

–         Oh…here’s an oddity…. it snowed yesterday!!  On October 18^th.  That is the earliest I have ever remembered it snowing. Although it was big fluffy flakes, it didn’t stick to the pavement.  But I did have to clean my windshield off after dinner last night. Probably should get my gloves and boots out.  Might need them sooner rather than later.
