Today’s Thoughts (4/4/11)

A few thoughts at the end of a rainy Monday:

• Went to see The Adjustment Bureau yesterday. Wonderful movie!! I would tell you about it but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. Suffice to say it was an incredibly romantic movie and I am looking forward to seeing it again when it comes out on DVD.

• My DVD player quit working today. I tried everything to get it to turn on and it just wouldn’t. Then I remembered something my brother said about an outlet going bad so I unplugged the player from the power strip and plugged it into the outlet next to it and the DVD player came on!! I am quite pleased with myself. I really didn’t want to spend the money on a new DVD player and, for the few hours I couldn’t get it to work, I had an overwhelming urge to watch a DVD. Of course, once I managed to get it to work again, that urge went away and I ended up watching regular TV tonight.

• My upstairs neighbor is moving out tomorrow!!! Yeah!!! He is moving back home to his mother’s house. The neighbor in the front apartment told me that he confronted her on her porch a week or so ago and wanted to know who was calling the police on him. I mean, really??? Who do you think was calling the police??? Maybe the person who lives directly beneath you and can hear everything going on in your apartment? I hate to judge but I think someone is a few fries short of a Happy Meal when it comes to brains. Must be all the pot being smoked up there. Oh well. Good-bye and good luck! Maybe you will grow up before you move into your next apartment.
