I read somewhere that after Paul McCartney came up with a song while he was sleeping, he played it for people wanting to know where he had heard it before. He was convinced it had to be a song that was already written but it turned out that he had written it. If my memory serves correctly, that song was Yesterday, which I consider one of the greatest he ever wrote.
I mention this because I just thought of something:
Today was better than yesterday so there is hope for tomorrow!
Now, my question is this, where is that from? It must be a quote from someone but I can’t think of who it would be or where I had heard it. Of course, there is a minuscule possibility that I thought it up all by myself but I don’t think that is the case.
I guess I will have to research it and see if I can find who originally said it so I can give credit where it is due.
In the mean time, I just want to say it really applies to my life right now. Today was a good day all around and I have hope for tomorrow.
