Big Flakes

Today is the first full day of spring.

Ah..springtime!  Gentle breezes, warm weather, flowers, green grass, birds chirping and big, fluffy snowflakes.  Yes, snowflakes!

We had 70 degree weather on Friday.  Then the temperature dropped and we had snow on Saturday morning.  No big deal.  Last full day of winter. We should have snow.

But today is the first full day of spring.

Those are not stars. Those are snowflakes. Big, fluffy snowflakes the size of small snowballs. It is like the angels are tossing little snowballs down to earth.

It actually is very pretty. And it is easy to deal with since it is just a temporary situation. By the time the seasons change again, we will be dealing with incredibly hot temperatures and high humidity. When those days arrive, we can look back at this photo and feel much cooler!
