Minivan Update

So the ABS thing really was a thing.  My mechanic found all kinds of codes relating to the ABS light coming on.  He said that it is a problem that Windstars seem to have and it is nothing to worry about.  It would mostly be a factor in the winter because the ABS won’t kick in if I go into a skid (not likely to happen any other time of the year).

He test drove it a couple of times and didn’t have the stuttering problem.  I think it is one of those things that I have to be in the van with him and point out when it happens.  What to me is a problem may be to him nothing.  It’s my van and I am used to the way it is supposed to behave.  What for me is something out of whack could be a minor thing that he doesn’t even notice.

He has assured me that it won’t stall out, that it is perfectly safe to drive and that if the stuttering problem gets worse, he can look at it again.  I guess it doesn’t matter.  As soon as I buy a house, I’m buying a new vehicle.  Hopefully that will happen soon.  Hopefully…
